At LifeWell kids we want to come alongside our families and help them take their next steps in their discipleship journey. Sunday mornings play a pivotal role in accomplishing this mission. We have some amazing volunteers, but we are always looking for more to join LifeWell Kids! There are many roles from leading a class to helping keep our hallways safe and secure.

These volunteers make sure our hallways remain secure, monitor halls during bathroom breaks, assist with pulling parents from service if needed and may help direct new families to the correct classroom.
Check-in
These volunteers learn our check-in system and assist families as needed. They are responsible for greeting new families, giving out welcome bags and directing new families to the correct classrooms.
Assistant Teacher
These volunteers provide help to the lead teacher in our 2s3s, PreK/K, 1st-3rd, and 4th-5th grade classes. They are also given the lesson materials to look over about a week in advance, but are not the ones leading. They will help with the various activities alongside the lead teacher.
Jr. Leader
These leaders must be 6th grade or older and primarily serve as extra help in the nursery or with our toddlers. Occasionally, a jr leader may assist with our PreK/K classes.
Lead Teacher
These volunteers are the primary teachers on Sunday mornings in our 2s/3s, PreK/K, 1st-3rd, and 4th-5th grade classes. All lesson curriculum and materials are prepared for them with lessons provided in Planning Center a week in advance. Lead teachers are required to assist in classes before taking the lead role.
Nursery
These volunteers are responsible for communicating with parents at dropoff to ensure any special needs are met for our littlest ones. There is no lesson, but volunteers are encouraged to engage with every child whether rocking a baby or down on the floor playing with toys.
Weekly Reset
These volunteers serve on a monthly rotating schedule and help reset supplies, clean toys, etc. We recommend serving in pairs; two people can get everything done in about an hour each week.
