Week 7 | For the One
The mission of God is too heavy to carry alone.
In this message from the For the One series, Danny reminds the church that advancing the gospel was never designed to rest on the shoulders of one leader, one family, or one small group of volunteers. The mission is eternal. The weight is significant. But God never intended it to be carried solo.
Drawing from Ecclesiastes, Philippians, Romans, and 1 Corinthians, this episode paints a clear picture: partnership multiplies strength. Two are better than one. A church doesn’t move forward because a few people do everything — it moves forward when everybody does something.
Danny dismantles the idea that attendance equals partnership. Showing up is good. But shared mission, shared sacrifice, shared responsibility — that’s where the power is. The gospel accelerates when every believer sees themselves as commissioned, not just the pastors.
This message also prepares the church for Kingdom Impact Sunday — a call to unity, prayer, sacrifice, and full participation. Not pressure. Not guilt. Partnership. Because when God’s people move together in obedience, God brings the growth.
If you’ve ever felt the weight of ministry, wondered how you fit into the mission, or assumed someone else would carry it — this message will reframe your role and reignite your responsibility.
Press play and be reminded: what God wants to do through us will only happen together.
